Herefordshire County Academies
We are comitted to developing our young netballing talent. The academy programme is about developing individuals skills, it is not primarily aimed at competition. This exprience is gained through the clubs and schools. A squad of 15 girls from the u14 and u16 academy are chosen to play competitively in the West Midlands League for Westside Netball Club.
County Academies are run for:
- Under 12's
- Under 14's
- Under 16's
Trials are run each autumn with teachers proposing the players they feel most suitable. Girls who have been in the programme automatically get an invitation to trial for the following year.
u12 Academy. Monthly training coached by Hannah Leger, Zoe New, Helen Bowden
u14/u16 Academy. Fortnightly training coached by Sarah Bushnell, Tracey Clark
