Westside Netball club was formed in 2005 to allow our most talented players to play the highest level of competition available to them. The senior team now competes in the West Midlands Regional League Division One and came third in the Winter Season 2008/09. Training for seniors is led by Helen Bowden with the support of senior captain Jaydee Hunt and takes place on Thursday evenings at Whitecross School 7.30 to 9 pm running from August to April.
The Under 16 and under 14 squad also compete at regional level and have just completed a very succesful season.
Training for these sqauds is run by Sarah Bushnell and Tracey Clarke at Whitecross on a Friday evening, from 4.30 to 6 pm September to April. The girls selected for the Westside squad all train with the County academy.
