What is it?

Back to Netball is a fun and friendly re-introduction to the sport. More than 110,000 women have re-discovered their love for the game through Back to Netball and realised the many benefits of getting involved.

It offers so much more than just the game. It fosters a sense of belonging, friendship, and community. There’s no pressure or commitment – just a friendly welcome for both newcomers and those returning to netball. Alongside NETBALLHer, we support women through life’s busiest chapters.

Who is it for?

Designed for women of all ages (16+) and abilities, Back to Netball sessions focus
on those who haven’t played for a while, reintroducing you to netball in a supportive
way. Whether you have not played for years or perhaps it is your first experience,
participants receive a warm welcome without expectations of demand or
commitment. Sessions are fun and progressive, and trained coaches will guide you
through the basics. Each session contains skill-based activity and fun game play.

What Can I Expect?

Back to Netball sessions are delivered by friendly, motivated coaches and focus on the core skills of the game, such as passing, footwork, and shooting. Each session ends with a relaxed match so you can apply what you’ve learned in a fun, game-style setting.

There’s no need for specialised gear – just wear comfortable workout clothes, supportive trainers (preferably with laces), and don’t forget to bring a bottle of water.

You’ll find full information about our local sessions listed above.
