If your chosen course is currently fully booked, complete an Expression of Interest form on the relevant England Netball coaching page. You’ll then be among the first to hear when new courses are released.

What is the UKCC?

The UK Coaching Certificate is an endorsement of sports-specific coach education. It ensures that sports are delivering the best available, athlete centred coaching both in recreational, development and performance environments.

There are currently three levels of qualification available, with coaches progressing through Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3. All qualifications are achieved through a course which takes place between 4 – 8 days, with one assessment day.

Level 1

Begin your coaching journey with the England Netball Level 1 course, designed to introduce you to the fundamentals of coaching and working with players of all ages, from under 7s to adults. This course is ideal for anyone aged 16 or over who wants to start coaching netball with a solid grasp of the game’s rules.

Level 2

Take your coaching to the next level with the England Netball Level 2 course, designed to prepare you for the key responsibilities of planning, delivering, and evaluating coaching sessions. This course is ideal for coaches who have at least two years of experience or hold a Level 1 Coaching Netball certificate.

Advance your coaching skills with the England Netball Level 3 Advanced course, focusing on more detailed session planning and deeper game knowledge. This course is perfect for coaches aiming to lead year-long programmes that emphasise player-centred development, especially in performance-focused settings.
