The Herefordshire County Academy is competitive and gives a clear route for keen and talented netball players to develop through the England Netball Player Pathway from under 13 up to England Roses.
Under 13
The Herefordshire Netball Under-13 County Academy serves as a crucial starting point in the development pathway for young, talented netballers across the county. With access to a high standard of coaching, these players receive comprehensive training designed to enhance both their technical skills and overall understanding of the game. The academy focuses on developing core netball skills like passing, shooting, and footwork while also fostering a deeper appreciation of the rules and tactics that underpin competitive play. This foundation ensures that the athletes are well-prepared for progression within the sport.

Under 15
The Herefordshire County Academy for Under-15s is the next progressive step in the netball pathway, building on the foundation laid in the Under-13 program. Competition intensifies at the Under-15 level, with players participating in highly competitive matches against other county academies. These matches provide valuable experience, testing the players’ technical skills, tactical understanding, and physical endurance in real-game scenarios.
